I have been experimenting with the blender to make smoothies with a bite. This Cucumber Melon Yogurt is another smoothie recipe that I dare to release. It is inspired by the Greek Tzatziki salad, to which melon is added and a bunch of extra ingredients. The final result is a sour-sweet refreshing drink.
Ingredients: 1 Melon (melone) + 2 small Cucumbers (cetriolo) + 0.5 L Yogurt (yogurt). Furthermore: 1 clove of Garlic (aglio), 1 Lemon (limone), 1 tablespoon of salty Mustard (senape), 1 tablespoon of Honey (miele) and a few sprigs of Thyme (timo).
Preparation: Chop the Melon and Cucumber fine (Tagliato). Add with Yoghurt to the blender (Frullatore). Add the Lemon, Mustard, Honey, Garlic and Thyme. Blend until the desired consistency is reached.
Serving: Cold in a beaker (bicchiere).
